A Squirrel Named Red

Here we get three species of tree squirrel, the introduced Easter Grey Squirrel, the Red Squirrel, and the rarely seen Northern Flying Squirrel.  In this picture is a Red Squirrel busy eating a sunflower seed on a cool winter morning.

While some people have issues with squirrels damaging property or getting into attics, I find their antics, chatter and looks a welcome addition to our outdoor environment.
