Bighorn Sheep

It was two days before the first major snow hit the high country.

This female Bighorn Sheep was part of a herd of around 12 adults and 4 juveniles that were feeding high in an alpine meadow.  It seemed that they knew that the snow was coming as they were focused on feeding.  As I stood quietly they moved all around me, unconcerned by my presence.
